Macsumsuk Growfeed Aqua Minerals Research on Fish and Shrimp

The Pukyong National University conducted research on

Macsumsuk Growfeed (E.G. Power) mineral to evaluate the

growth and survival rates of fish when Macsumsuk was added to

fish and shrimp diets in different amounts.

The experiment checked for the proper quantities of the Macsumsuk Growfeed (E.G. Power) Aqua Minerals additive in the young tilapia and whiteleg shrimps diet. The study group consisted of five groups with three repetitions. The experiment was conducted over eight weeks. The results showed that the Tilapia and whiteleg shrimps showed the best weight gain and feed efficiency at 0.803% and 1.06% respectively. Based on the experiment results an addition of about 1% Macsumsuk Growfeed (E.G. Power) Aqua Mineral to the diet of whiteleg shrimps and tilapia is recommended.
