Macsumsuk Growfeed Research on ammonia-absorbing in pig shed
An experiment on feed requirement ratio, ammonia-absorbing, mortality with
Growfeed (E.G. Power) mineral). The experiment was conducted on 1,200
head of pigs. The experiment was completed over 6 months from April to
September 2013. The experiment used 0.5% of macsumsuk powder sprayed 180g
per square meter (0.6 ounce per square foot) on the floor of pig sheds. The test
measured the density of ammonia gas at a pig’s height.
The average density of ammonia gas decreased from 26ppm to 9ppm. The feed requirement ratio was improved from 2.83 at the beginning of the experiment to 2.52 by end of experiment – an increase of 0.31 points. The mortality rate decreased from 8.7% to 5.8%. The Macsumsuk Growfeed mineral absorbs fungi spores by ion substitution and absorbs harmful gas so that it boosts immunity, improves weight gain, prevents diarrhea, decreases mortality, and finally contributes to the pig farmers’ income.
